SMC molded products often have some flashes connected to them, they need to be removed. The thickness of the flash should be limited to the range of 0.1 mm. If the thickness of the flash is too large, not only will it be difficult to remove, but also the material waste will be too large, and the material cost of SMC will also be greatly increased. If time permits, the operator can use tools such as blades, modified abrasive belts, press-in rods and other tools to clean the flash and holes on the product in the interval between mold closing and curing.
